Wood picks can extend silks and dried stems for added height or be used with water tubes. Wood picks help defy gravity. Angled stems will not turn or twist when brushed against, especially in bouquet holders where a strong hold is crucial. Wood picks save limited foam space when used with tropicals. the provide better support without needing to insert large stems too deeply into floral foam. They are ideal for securing fresh fruit, pinecones, bows and ribbon loops. They are a great tool for clustering and insterting grasses, silk, drieds and short stems that would otherwise be discarded.
