Each box planter is made of 5 pieces of wood nailed together to form a tapered square. The planters are not water-resistant, so a pre-fitted plastic liner is included. We also carry this vintage wood planter in a 5".

These wood planters can be great for succulents, or orchids, but they do not feature a drainage hole, so they can be used for centerpiece style arrangements as well. When using fresh flowers, the plastic liner inside keeps water from soaking into the wood. We recommend using Aquafoam to keep everything intact, in place, and hydrated.
